I would like to buy Imovie, and I need to know if it will work with my current OS.
On the app store in requirements it says 1.7.4 or later? Is that true???
I'm not looking to upgrade my OS as my iMac is too old, probably not eligible.

i called apple and they said that it required 10.7 or higher. has a successful install and usage been done yet on 10.6.8?

I was using it with 10.6.8 for a long time till now.
Actually here is how you configure with snow leopard, by apple:

But is not working for me.
I gave up already. I will probably use the forward email function in the icloud, and slowly move to gmail.
Does iMovie11 work on Snow Leopard 10.6.8?
