Why is my computer generating this pop-up, and how do I correct the issue (what is the issue anyway)?

Last back-up was on August 30th. Downloaded iOS 6 came a couple of days after this. Using iTunes 10.7 (21). Mac mid-2010 intel.

Hello,

I, too, had the same filed backup issues, but I *just* updated to iOS 6.0.1, and they seem to have disappeared.
