Sound not working, only through earbuds.

My sound is working through my earbuds, but not when I try to play music, video, use speaker phone, or when ringing or using the alarm. I have reset the phone, made sure the mute button wasn't on, toggled the sound buttons, cleaned the place where the earbuds go, etc. The volume bar still shows up, but nothing comes out of the speaker. I've googled and feel like I've tried everything imagineable without taking the phone into the Apple store or paying $19.00 to talk to Apple Support on the phone. Please advise!
