My iphone 4s running IOS 6 will not function with my 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I am using the standard Hyundai iphone cable. It will only connect and work fine for a matter of seconds then ends up failing. Any help is greatly appreciated.
On phone, go to settings, accessibility, physical & motor, incoming calls, headset. The bluetooth will work when in car and will revert to phone when not in car.
This particular 2011 Elantra does not have bluetooth capability. The only way I can sinc and play music is via USB. I am using the Hyundai cable from the dealership. A friend of mine has an iphone 4 running IOS 5 and it works perfectly. Therefore, in my mind it is either the 4s or iOS 6 that is causing the issue.
