I have to bring in my iMac 27" for maintenance.
i wanted to know if it was possible to move easely everything from my iMac to my macBook Pro
So I can continue working on my macbook while my iMac is going for repair.

If you applications are free, you can simply transfer the work files.
If your applications are paid, the situation is more complicated. Some software manufacturers allow you to transfer certain applications free of extra charge, or contend that fair use sharing is admissible. However, for self protection, many software manufacturers charge you for each unique user.

I thought that timeMachine could give me that option to move everything between 2 computers
I just found out about migration
