iPhone 5 earbuds (too big and hurt my ears) looking for alternatives with play/stop, volume control and mic.

So I just got the new iPhone 5 and the earbuds really hurt my ears. I don't know if it's the fact that I have small ears but after about 15 minutes of use my ears hurt really bad. I am just not comfortable with them so I am looking for a new pair. I am specifically looking for one with all the controls the iPhone earbuds have plus a mic so I can use it to talk on the phone as well.

If anyone can suggest some good alternatives I'd appreciate it very much.
