Hi when i put my sim into my iphone 4s it comes up with Activation Required and wont do anyhting elese

Have you activated your phone with your carrier? Call your carrier and make sure they activate your phone.
I've had mine for a while. I do not update when it asks, but I may have inadvertently told it do something I shouldn't have last time. I just changed my password with Apple, and tried the reboot, to no avail. I heard someone tried temporarily pulling the SIM card but I don't know how I do that.

It tells me "activation required". Not sure what to do. Sorry, first time having to do this on my own. My kids and grand kids usually do it for me.
