Removing Archive Media

In her book, Diana Weynand, tells how to create a camera archive but does not tell how to remove an archive. If I decide to remove the archive, do I do it through the program Final Cut Pro X and, if so, how. Or do I do it through the Finder, going to Final Cut Camera Archives?
