Googling this message didn't give me any information. Since I have issues (update of OS doesn't work through App-Store) and my "All my files" are slow in Finder. I was trying to find out what these errors meant and how to stop them occuring.

mdworker is the Mac OS X Spotlight search > What is mdworker?

Note: There's an ad for MacKeeper top of that window at that liink. Just ignore that.

"All my files" are slow in Finder.

Rebuilding the Spotlight index should help > Rebuild the Spotlight Index

Thanks for the info on mdworker, I knew this alredy but it will help others that find this discussion.

I did pretty recently rebuild Spotlight Index, so I'm not sure this will solve the issue.

Since there are other problems on this machine that might be related to this I'd like to understand what these errors mean before I just retry building the Spotlight index.
