Will my high resolution song files stored in my iMac's iTunes library (88.2kHz and 96kHz 24-bit) be recognized and matched in the iCloud?

I have many albums of high resolution music (with ALAC encoding) that cannot be loaded onto my iPhone because the internal DAC of iPod and/or iPhone cannot recognize the high sample rate format. If iTunes Match would stream a lower resolution version of this music to the iCloud, it would provide me with access to this music on my iPhone.
