TS3778 how can I see mpg files on my mac book?

    I presume you mean play?

     

    QuickTime can play MPEG4 files as standard and H.264 (a varient on the MPEG4 standard). QuickTime can in Lion or Mountain Lion play some MPEG2 files but is not able to play them all.

     

    However you can download the free VLC software which can play pretty much all varieties of MPEG file.
