I bought an ipad 3 two months ago not knowing the ipad 4 was coming out how do I get compensated???

Did you sign any kind of document, that you will get compensated for purchasing IPad 3, by anyone? If you did, I would assume - yes.

I should not ask but, why do you think you should be compensated?

Why is it obsolete? Does it no longer perform the functions for which you bought it? If not, take it to your authorized service center for warranty repair.

It isn't able to do what it was capable of doing last week? Or maybe you are just envious that someone else will have a newer, shinier toy?

Really? Don't spark another arugument. There's enough of that going on. People are going to be upset. Don't try to make them feel dumb on top of it.

I see why people are upset, but I also see the other side. Sparking arguments by patronizing isn't worth it. It's a lot of wasted time on both ends. It happened(4th gen), its over, move on. :)
