I am in this current scenario right now. The phone I am trying to restore had been jailbroken, I would like to restore to regular use but can't seem to break the cycle. Tell me there is a cure. ๐Ÿ™‚

If it's been jailbroken you will have to restore it using DFU mode, using a computer that has never been used to jailbreak a device.

I tried this on a laptop that never had any apple products nor iTunes. I tried putting the phone in DFU mode, and it did the same thing. Now, I reboot with power/home button, leave home button pressed. The iphone, shows that logo with the plug and itunes sees it and goes into update / recover mode and goes through the steps. I have downloaded the ipsx file and pressed the shift key while clicking on restore, it goes through the steps, and it kicked over once and quit half way. I tried the regular method and it's gone through the steps, and nothing. I'm at my wits end...Any other possibilities on getting this recovered??? ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

If I went / contacted Apple would they help??? ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ
