Client Management 10.8

Is there anybody managing 10.8 clients like in 10.6 server with mcx and workgroup manager? we tried the profile manager and it's awful to manage 10.8 client with profiles.

1. we want an individual login screensaver. A 10.8 compatible screensaver module built with iScreensaver, is not recognized

2. same screensaver is running fine, when a user is logged in

3. can't set a default screensaver for users. after the next login, the horrible "Flurry" screensaver is set back to default.

4. finder settings: we've created a custom plist with settings like icon size on desktop, show pathbar and statusbar etc. - with no effect, same with sidebar settings.

5. how to remove menubar icons, like timemachine, bluetooth etc??

6. how to permanently set a default screensaver at the login window and after a user is logged in??

7. how to set folder redirection for specific folders (for network home users) like redirecting Cache to local hard-drive?

8. login window shows complete Active Directory user list, and not only the group of users, who are allowed to login (setting in profilemanager)

9. is there a plist and settings to to set permanentely the sidebar iconsize to small icons?

It's horrible, MCX/WGM is running fine for the last 10 years...and now??? how do others manage their 10.8 clients??

we will upgrade 300 workstations to 10.8 in december, but without client management is not usable for us.

any tips are appreciated.
