Q: My iPad 3 would not support SDXC or USB drives, do the new iPads support these through the new lightning  adapters?

My Ipad 3 would not support SDXC or USB sticks withe the camera kit. Do the new iPads support SDXC or USB sticks via the Lightning adapters?

    None of us know for sure and probably can't find out until ipad4's start showing up and are able to be experimented with.

     

    I personally could see the SDXC maybe happening, but not the USB.

        •    Mass Storage Device protocol

        •    SDSC

        •    SDHC

        •    miniSD

        •    microSD

        •    MMC

        •    SDXC (supported only when not formatted as ExFAT)

    Yes - the 'old' Camera Connection Kit... But we're curious about the new Lightning - SD adapter. Impatiently awaiting similar article about the new product since the details on the store are limited.
