Games for the iPad mini query

Hi there!

I am quite excited about the iPad mini. But i wanted to ask something about games

When i was checking for the games (and compatibility info) i have downloaded previously on my old iPad 2 (which i beleive shares the same specs as that of the iPad mini) on the App Store it only says "..for the iPad".

Would that mean it is also compatible with the new iPad mini?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.4), TalkTalk; Huawei Echolife HG532

Yes, all the iPad 2 apps will be compatible with the iPad mini. Apple made it clear during the launch event.

And what was the 275,000 or so apps/games that they mentioned? I thought they said all but it doesn't sound all.

That figure refers to to app specically for iPad (no iPhone equivilent).

Any apps or games that run on the previos version will run on the mini.
