How do I export a range in FCPX 10.0.6?

The version release notes list "Export a selected range in the Event Browser or the project timeline." as a new feature. So how do I do this? If i select a range in the timeline, using the range tool, and then export via the share menu or button, the whole project gets exported. I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

Works for me- set an in and out with the Range tool in the Project timeline and share from the timeline. Should export only the portion within that range. User uploaded file
