How to put movie in itunes

I have a dvd that I imported to my computer using handbreak, but it wont open in itunes. How can I put it in itunes so that I can sync it to my iPod Touch?

iPod touch, iOS 5.0.1

Did you convert the movie using the iPod touch preset in Handbrake?

yes. it wont even get into itunes.

Sounds like an issue you may need to take up in the Handbrake forums, then, presuming other videos work in iTunes without problems.
