Iphone 5 Bluetooth/Wifi problem

I have a new Iphone 5 and the bluetooth connects but calls are garbled and it cuts out on our 2008 Toyota Avalon and our 2012 Toyota Rav4. Disappointing since there is hands free law in place in Maryland. Also, the Wifi does not work in our home unless you are 2-3 ft from the router...I hope a fix is on the way.
