Soundtrack Pro will not open

I am using Snow Leopard and the version of Soundtrack Pro that came with it in 2009. Until today I had no trouble opening it and using it, but today it would not open. I trashed the preference com.apple.soundtrackpro.plist, emptied the trash, and shut down and started up the computer after waiting for 30 seconds or so. After that procedure the logo opened for a few seconds, then the following message came up: "An Unexpected Problem...NSInternalinconsistencyException/Invalid parameter not satisfying: m_splitView. Any advice that will get me back on track will be welcome. Thanks.
