Dec 12, 2012 2:06 PM in response to tbirdvetby PackDude,I would not count on that. When I swapped my mini out at the Apple store, they told me it would have the 10.8.2 update installed already. It was not.

Dec 12, 2012 2:14 PM in response to BobH47by joeh36,Me too. With my samsung T24B350 monitor/tv it was never "that bad" and I didn't have any color issues but I'm glad that it now seems "perfect", I am quite happy with my mini.

Dec 12, 2012 8:18 PM in response to KevChengby Steve Tiffany,No blackouts since the update, but if I use the test screen here:
http://www.photofriday.com/calibrate.php
I'm still seeing the 'Y' and 'Z' whites as the same color, even after a manual calibration. Fresh out of the box the Mini showed 'W', 'X', 'Y', and 'Z' as the same bright white, so this is at least an improvement. Also, the 'A' and 'B' blacks are currently almost indistinguishable.
With the MiniDisplayPort-to-VGA adapter, every shade of gray is distinct, A-Z.

Dec 12, 2012 9:03 PM in response to Steve Tiffanyby Steve Tiffany,Thirty-five minutes after I wrote this, my video blinked out and didn't come back. I had to hold in the Mini's power button to restart.
The fix didn't fix it. Until Apple's next attempt, it's back to MDP-to-VGA for me.
