How/why are my iPhoto photos still showing up on my AppleTV after my MacBook got stolen? I thought that my MacBook had to be online on my Home Sharing network in order for this to happen?

Are you referring to your screensaver photos.
Screensaver photos are saved on the Apple TV itself, only the photos you view in your slideshows are streamed from the computer itself.
Yes - I'm refering to the screensave photos that display on my tv thanks to AppleTV. I thought that the 2nd Gen AppleTV's dont' have HDD's and that nothing is saved to them?
It has a small drive of around 8GB, it holds the OS and some other things including a limited number of photos for the screensaver. The rest of the drive is used for temporary storage of content that you are using at the time.
