iPhone 5 video transfer

Hi

I am going on holiday and only intending to take my iPhone 5 (I've already been informed that the safe wont fit my iPad, so therefore not my Macbook Pro either.) I am intending to use the video function but a seperate camera for stills.

Firstly, I'm under the impression that an hour of video can take up as much as 10GB. Is this true? I only have the 16GB.

I would like to know if there is anyway that I can upload the videos from my phone each day, so keeping it free to take more. Can I do this via iCloud without my iPad or Mac even being in the same country (I appreciate that wi-fi will take it anywhere but didnt know if my my device needed to be on, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when my photostream updates for example.) Or is there another app. I can use to do this?

Ulitmately I am hoping to clear my videos off my iPhone every day without having another device to connect it to.

So is this possible?

Thanks

Dropbox gives 2GB+3GB Bonus for Camera upload=5GB.

MegaCloud gives another 8 GB and easily goes to 11GB.

Total 16GB online storage to upload your videos every night. Through wi-fi of course.

And yes.

The iPhone 4s rear Camera records at 24Mb/sec=3MB/sec=180MB/min=10.8GB/hour.

(I believe is about the same for iPhone 5)

The iPhone 4s front Camera records at 3.6Mb/sec=0.45MB/sec=27MB/min=1.6GB/hour.

(I believe iPhone 5 has higher bit rate).
