Adding Albums from WMP

I can import files (songs) or folders (albums) from Windows Media Player into itunes. I can then add my choice of songs to my iPhone. However it doesn't matter if I import files or folders either way I only end up with a huge list of songs. No albums or album art. I just want to be able to pick albums to load into my phone and I want the art that goes with it. It's too hard just looking at a list of songs.

Something is not adding up. The iPhone 5 does not support that format so I don't know how you are even getting them on there.
