Does the new iMac have retina display?

I'm getting the new iMac when it comes out in December, and I'm going to install Office 2011 for it. However, reviews say it looks blurry on retina display. Should I get iWork's instead?

7.7 is a pretty good shaker, glad things aren't worse for all concerned.

Seems like both Apple and Windows are grooming their systems for the casual, non-technical user, making their platforms just an extension of the tablets and phones instead of going the other way and allowing users to expand their intellect and creatively use the tools without their coddling and control. 😀

Try to view computers going forward as an appliance, similar to a television or washing machine. It won't be long before computers will be like the iPhone. Only software purchased from the App Store will work. In a couple of years they'll be deleting posts describing how to jailbreak your Macintosh.
