Can't see another mac on my network
I have an Airport Extreme Network and an iMac and MacBook connected wireless to the network. I want to share files between the two computers but cannot see from one to the other. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Jane,
In System Preferences>Sharing, have you enabled File Sharing?
Hi BDAqua,
Yes, but I still can't see the Mac Book from the iMac. Any other ideas?
Thanks.
What are the IPs of the two please?
Find IP on computers...

Sorry I didn't reply to you but created a work around.
Now I have a worse problem. The iMac won't boot up. I have tried every recommendation on this site and others and nothing works. I tried to boot with the install disk, tried to boot in Safe mode (got the progress bar which went to the end & then got the spinning gear. I am getting a feeling that the HD has crashed?????? Should I post this elsewhere.
Hi Jane, likely post a query over here...
