Printer compatible with OS X 10.7.5?

Can anyone help me with a recommendation for a printer that supports OSX 10.7.5?

I just returned an HP laserjet that supported 10.5 and 10.6 but not 10.7. I didnt want to spend hours on the phone with HP support and the drivers on their website did not mesh with 10.7.

All I need is something VERY SIMPLE. Don't need copying or scanning or faxing. Just printing, and not even color printing!!

I want a nice small simple printer that I can set up and get going easily. If I can print wirelessly, that would be a plus.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Well, for the complete list of printers that you can print to wirelessly, see the "Printer and Scanner Software" link in this "Mac 101: Printing" article.

I've attached the entire article because it describes the simple setup process if you have one of the supported printers.

Consider one of these:

AirPrint compatible Brother laser devices

and

AirPrint compatible Brother inkjet devices

I know you want something simple so you don't need AirPrint, but an AirPrint compatible printer is not much more expensive than one that is not.

You will be able to find of the laser printers above for less than $100 and you may never have to buy a toner cartridge for it.

Hi John, Yes, I know this thread is ancient. Do you have any ideas for MacBook Pro 10.7.5 (I'm still in Mt. Lion) compatible combo printer? I actually do not want wireless. I found something refurb on Staples by Brother, but their return policy (according to 1 reviewer) sounded really sketchy for an online/shipment purchase. I like the $99 price of the simple Brother non-wireless you pointed out. Thank you! for any ideas.
