How to turn off automatic scrolling?

How do I turn off automatic scrolling in iMovie?

I am using the trailers feature and every time I select a clip from my event browser and drag it into the project window into the Storyboard template, the project window autmoatically scrolls to the top. This is annoying the **** out of me as I have to scroll back down to where I was each time. Is there some way to disable this use
