It would be helpful to know what photos you are trying to transfer to the new iPad.


The support articles in the post above are helpful if the photos are already on your computer. If that is the case, then you can sync with iTunes in order to transfer those photos to your new iPad.


If the photos are in your camera roll on the iPad (saved photos from web sites and emails or photos that you took with the iPad) you can import them to your computer, transfer them into the folder in which you sync photos from and then sync with iTunes - or you can restore the new iPad from the backup of the old iPad.

If you haven't set up the new iPad yet, restoring from a backup is part of the activation process and you can elect to do this when you activate the device.
