I accepted a gift sent to my id on a friends ipod, how can i undo it and accept the gift on my id

That day i accidently accepted my gift code on another friends ID. I wanted to undo that and use the gift code on my apple ID. HOw should i do it ?a little help anybody ?

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6

You can't. Once you redeemed the app through another Apple ID, it's permanently associated with that account and there's no way to transfer that app to your ID now. If you want the app in your own iTunes Store account, you'll have to buy it yourself.
