Oct 29, 2012 8:39 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby Linda Ehman,I don't know why you don't see the image, I do on your reply. Anyway, I copied it here:
35 name matches were found, but 35 files are not compatible.
Relinked files must have the same media type, same frame rate, and similar audio channels as the original files, and must be long enough to cover all the clips that reference the files.
Select a single item at a time to get information about why it is not compatible.
OKAY so I did that and here is the response:
The original file didn't have audio, but the new file does.
Relinked files must have the same media type, same frame rate, and similar audio channels as the original files, and must be long enough to cover all the clips that reference the files.
On another event, the missing files are .mp4, and all I apparently have are the .mov files which don't match. Everything was fine until the update to 10.0.6

May 19, 2013 9:12 PM in response to Linda Ehmanby Linda Ehman,I never found an answer. That was a while ago, but I think I re-imported files. I have not updated since then though! I am getting ready to update to 10.0.8 so I hope to do it right this time.

May 20, 2013 5:51 AM in response to Russ Hby Linda Ehman,Thank you! I am going from .6 to .8, and I just read that you do not have to do any of the updates in between. Now to find a thread concerning the importing of clips changing names, or actually, the information about the clip time/date etc, shows up in FCPX instead of the original clip name.
