Who has a fix for "iTunes has stopped working"?

I've searched all these forums and I have literally tried every solution offered. I've uninstalled iTunes (and all other Apple products, including Bonjour), cleaned my registry, history, cookies. I've reinstalled, disabled Genius, disabled Jukebox, shutdown, unplugged from 'net, reinstalled, plugged back in, etc, etc, etc.
Absolutely nothing has worked.
On several days of searching for fixes on Google, I find that this is a problem for a lot of people, but when they contact Apple they get **** for an answer.
I read in one forum, from about a year ago, someone had success by deleting iTunes and reinstalling an older version.

I'm beginning to hate Apple as much as I hate MS, and that really says a lot.

Thanks-
Dave.

Want to hear something weird?
After I saw your last post, I was going to follow your suggestion and uninstall in the proper procedure, but decided to hold off because iTunes hadn't crashed in several hours.
I hadn't done anything more after my last post, but it seemed to stabilize on its own. Perhaps there was an auto-update by Windows or Apple or some third-party.
Anyway, it's been a week now, and iTunes hasn't crashed, so I guess it's fixed.

Bizarre. That was ******* me off for an entire week, and I don't know what the fix was.

Thanks for the suggestions!
