Oct 29, 2012 12:33 PM in response to deggieby robley01,Yes the AirPlay is on. I have the Apple TV 2. And it's all updated. The funny thing is that it never gave me a problem with my old iPhone....so I'm starting to think that there's something wrong with my phone..

Oct 29, 2012 12:52 PM in response to robley01by deggie,And you have confirmed that the iPhone and the Apple TV are connected to the same WiFi network and functioning properly on that network. Can you play a song through the ATV with the Music App?

Oct 29, 2012 2:18 PM in response to deggieby robley01,The airplay icon finally appeared but when I clicked on it it only showed the iphone option, not the ATV.....and the weird thing now is that it disappeared again! And neither I can play just music

Jun 26, 2014 9:03 PM in response to deggieby peterjedi,This resolved my problem too, but why do you need to set a different ssid for 5ghz and 2.4 ghz. Now the iphone loses the ability to use either frequency.
