deleting effects

Logic Express 9....I wish to delete insert effects. I know how to bypass...hoping someone cn help me.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

In the channel strip on the left, click and hold on your insert effect and when the window pops up click on "No Plug-in."
