Kindle app has internal error

Hi. My kindle app has been working fine until tonight. I ended up shutting my I pad off 3 times in a row while trying to take a picture of a screen. Then when I tried to open my kindle app I got a screen asking me to sign into my acct just like when I first installed the app. When I entered my info it came back with an error saying internal error. I did try to delete the app twice but received the same error when trying to re install.

Double tap Home button, delete Kindle from multitask-bar.

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

Note: You will not lose any data.

Ckuan , I did what you suggested and received the same error. The other problem I am noticing is that every time I turn iPad on its asking me to sign into my apple acct.it didn't do this before.

Somehow, something is corrupted.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Note: You have to key in the settings again.

You can delete the app then 'repurchase' (for nothing). i had Kindle sync problems not long ago and this was what Kindle tech support had me do. Unfortunately, it was to no avail and they replaced the physical Kindle as it was still under warranty.

Did you ever find a solution. I have the same problem. Have deleted the app from both the device and iTunes and reinstalled with no success.

The problem, as it it turned out, was not with the app, it was the Kindle device. After repeated and unsuccessful attempts to correct the problem, I asked Amazon to replace the Kindle device which fortunately was still under warranty. They did and the new one syncs fine with the app.

I ended up resetting the iPad and had to reinstall my apps and stuff from the cloud. This solved the problem but then I had to download every book to my kindle library, which is a huge library. Anyway the iPad and apps work fine now. Thanks for the help.
