How do I disable the ability to print from an iPad?
iPhone 4S, iOS 6, iPad 2, new iPad
Other than ensuring there is not an airprint enabled printer on the same network, i do not beleive you can.

Use the Apple iPhone Configuration Utility.
For Macs, it is in the Apple App store in the Apple menu.

James, the network does not nrmally have an AirPrint printer on it. the security issues involved with the possibilitiy of someone printing the documents from our documentation system would only be if someone setup a printer on the network.
Chris, I have the Apple Configurator. If it has the ability to block printing from an iPad, I was not able to find it. I might check out the windows version. Do you know if the windows woek on iPads (It is called Apple iPhone Configurator)?

1) Apple never renamed "Apple iPhone Configurator" after the iPad come out. Name should be something like Apple iOS Configurator. Apple iPhone Configurator will work with the iPad.
2) Doubt there is a functional difference between the Mac & Windows versions.
3) Check with iOS 6. Some resrictions have changed.
