iWork and iLife on iPad not importing photos or videos

On my iPad 3rd-generation it doesn't give me the option to import photos or videos it never asked me for permission to Access my photos, and it just shows me a lock and under settings privacy there's nothing there for iMovie keynote pages etc. I've deleted and re-downloaded these apps multiple times, But to no avail. Any help would be helpful thanks.
