You can only sync with one iTunes library at a time. What exactly is the problem your husband is having?

Is iTunes up to date on the PCs?

My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

You can only sync wint or manually manage music with one library at a time. Switching to another will erase all media from the phone and replace it with the media from the library you have chosen to sync to.

If the media was placed on your phone using a different library, it will need to be erased and replaced.

Plug the phone in to the computer you want to use for iTunes media, select what you want (sync or manually manage) carefully read and respond to the prompts that will tell you what is about to happen.
