My mini mac installer is missing.

I know that people have posted having this same problem but my situation is different. I got my mini mac from a friend and I don't have the installer disk. I have download a couple of other installers online but when I tried to install them, it wouldn't let me cause I needed a installer to run the installer. I looked in the utilities folder and it is clearly not there. I have been stumped on this for a week and would appreciate any help that can be given.

I downloaded the one for power pc, but it still gives me the same error. There is no default application specified to open the document (example) java 7 Update 09.pkg. What do I use with it? I tried going into applications but there is no utilities. Another site said there is something wrong with the mac launch services or is currupted. I dont know if that means a serious problem or I am just not understanding something

Wait, PPC Macs can't run Java 7, or even Java 6 much.

At the Apple Icon at top left>About this Mac.

Then click on More Info>Hardware and report this upto but not including the Serial#...

What are the system requirements for Java 7 on my Mac?

Operating system requirements: For Java 7, you will need an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X version 10.7.3 (Lion) and above. Installing Java on a Mac is performed on a system wide basis, for all users, and administrator privileges are required. Java 7 can not be installed on a per-user basis.
Browser requirements: A 64-bit browser (Safari or Firefox, for example) is required to run Java 7 on Mac OS X. 32-bit browsers such as Chrome do not support Java 7 on the Mac platform.

Feel blessed that you couldn't install MacKeeper.

I have no idea how they can get away with advertising MacKeeper at all.

You really really need to uninstall it, but maybe not using their uninstaller.

Klaus1's great post on MacKeeper...
