Oct 30, 2012 9:21 PM in response to t38ipby sberman,It doesn't sound like a permissions problem to me -- it sounds like an account setup problem. I wonder if you've migrated to your new MacBook Air from some Apple setup you've had for a long time.
Anyway, here's what seems to be the related article:

Good luck.

Oct 31, 2012 1:28 PM in response to sbermanby t38ip,No...I set my Air up from scratch as it came out of the box (and it is virtually new). I didn't migrate anything; all software was installed fresh from original disks.

Sorry; there is a space in your home directory pathi think that the path i.e. the location where you want to install the plugin is incorrect
you have to give the proper address(location of installation) means with no space.

Nov 1, 2012 5:33 AM in response to Sagar Ratheeby t38ip,And how do I do that?
I've been trying to install it in the same manner as I've always installed programs/plug-ins, etc, but it isn't working. The same plug-in installed just fine on my iMac (also running Mountain Lion).
So I'm at a loss on how to get it to work on the Air....
