Directv Player download is stuck.

I've tried to download the DIRECTV Player software and seems to get stuck on the 'Preparing DIRECTV Player..." screen for more than an hour. This is a small file about 26.8M so why is this taking so and why does it say it will use 66M of space? Either way I don't understand why it would take so long to download and install. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

I've never had issues downloading software before. I upgrade my Office and browser software easily all the time so I am really confused. I am including a screen shot of the message. Thanks.
