I have enabled iCloud in my iphone 4s. I can see "photo stream' in Albums section containing a bunch of photos(consuming some storage space). If i delete all photos in 'photo stream' will the same be deleted from icloud?

Yes. When you delete a photo from Photo Stream on one device, iCloud will automatically delete it from the Photo Stream album or view on your other devices.
Thanks for the info. So to save space i can delete the same photo under "camera rol" section. Hope that wont affect deletion in icloud?
Yes. But keep in mind... photos in your photo stream will be deleted after 30days.
