Is there an app to make predictive text on ipad more like on an android?

On my android phone I get a line above the keyboard that suggests five or six different words or phrases as I'm typing. I just click on one of them and it inserts it in my document. On the ipad, I have auto correct on, but I hardly ever get suggestions. When I do, it's usually after I have typed all but one letter and so its useless. Try the android and you'll see how much better this works. It's almost a deal breaker for me on the ipad.

Is there an app that would just add this functionality to the existing ipad keyboard? I looked at a few that didn't really do what I want, but they replaced the apple keyboard with something crazy.

iPad, iOS 6

Having both the iPad 3 and an Android Tab the ability to customise the Android Tab to ones own satisfaction is one great advantage.

But that's it - Android is for people who like messing around , customize, play around with internals etc. iPad is for people who want device that "just works". And one can't break 🙂 (software-wise that is 😝)

As an IT professional after fighting with machines all day at work, I'm gladly coming back home to iPad that just doesn't require any work ever 🙂

Or it could be said that Android users like to have a wide choice of how they would like their Tab (or Phone) to look, feel and operate i.e. customisable. However iPad (iPhone) owners have to use what they're given! 😉

Or maybe they're just able to make their own minds up rather than have them made up for them. 😉

Talking of "poorly vetted apps" Apple's own Maps application has really gone down a storm hasn't it. 😁

Anyway we all know that Apple fanbois will hear nothing against their precious gadgets or Apple (although the RIP, IPad 3 may make you think different!) so I'll give you the last words of "wisdom". 😁

That's what I said...

Gee, Android fanboys are getting very argumentitive these days.

You can also come back home to the Tab "without doing any work" if messening around and customising doesn't float your boat; like the iPad the Tab works fine (if not better) straight out of the box. I suppose with the Tab you get the best of both worlds! 😉

FWIW I like to think that as an owner of both gadgets I like to think that I have a balanced viewpoint unlike some who just own the iPad. 😉
