Connection Issue between Magic Mouse & MBP Running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Hi all -

I have a Magic Mouse that will not remain paired with my MBP. If I turn off the mouse & turn it back on, I have to remove the device & re-add it in order to use it.

I have not yet tested it on OS X, though I will give that a try later today.

The mouse works just fine once paired, though I have no scrolling capability. Right and left mouse clicks are fine and tracking speed is normal.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on a late-2011 MBP.

Any troubleshooting suggestions are welcome.

Edit: This mouse was paired with a Mac Pro running OS X Snow Leopard and worked fine (the Mac Pro is in the library and used by students), though I have not tested it with OS X on my laptop.
