I love the Do Not Disturb feature and have it set to receive calls from people on my Contacts list. I was under the impression that it would also allow texts from my Contacts to come through, but I don't hear any alert when I receive a text. Does Do Not Disturb only work for incoming phone calls and not texts?
It should show a half moon at the top of your phone when you have had an alert that wasnt on your allow list of phone calls, text should show the half moon also, but the allowing of sounds pertains to calls only.
Do not Disturb will not allow sounds denoting an incoming text message even if the text is from someone on your favorites list.
Yes, I know about the half moon. I just wondered if there was a way to get text messages.
DND is a great feature and has saved my sanity from all the political calls I've been receiving.
Does anyone know if they plan to incorporate texts into a future version of DND? Am I the only one who wants this??
Just have to wait and see, Apple doesnt let out what they are going to do until they put there betas out and the gold master to the public, or in there apple special events.
