I lost all my songs from my Ipod recently. Lucklily they are all on ICloud but most were downloads from my CDs, very few purchased from itunes. Is there a way to download from Icloud onto my Ipod?

Yes, of course. Just turn on iCloud and turn on iTunes Match. If it doesn't download automatically, that isn't unexpected because iCloud isn't instant sometimes. Surprisingly, most of the time it is!!
