When I open a new project in iMovie and click on the camera icon, the webcam screen comes up, but I can't figure out how to record video/audio. No help offered in the manual, unfortunately!
Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
I should add: when I open iMovie and start new project, then click on the camera icon, I get a screen and click capture. However, instead of recording video, whatever's on the screen at the moment freezes and no recording is happening.
While we all have MacBooks in this forum not all of us use iMovie. There's an iMovie Support Community where everybody uses iMovie. You should also post this question there to increase your chances of getting an answer. https://discussions.apple.com/community/ilife/imovie
