Can I improve the quality of my TV picture?

I have a 27" iMac with 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5, 12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB. Picture quality is good for everything except TV. Whether using Sky Go, TV Catchup, iPlayer or whatever, the picture quality is very poor, especially when on full screen.

Is there anything I can do to fix this, in the way of settings perhaps? I have BT Infinity broadband, so line speed should not be an issue.

Thanks, James

I think you should tackle each source, one at a time, and start with the BBC. You will find they will advise you on the correct settings and flash player to use. Once you have the BBC set correctly, you may find the others will be affected by those settings.
