I have to re-"pair"my keyboard each time I turn on my iPad 3 and keyboard.

I have a targus keyboard/case. I've followed the instructions on pairing my keyboard to the iPad, and the instructions say I will get a popup prompting me to enter a pin. But I never do. The iPad just finds it, and allows me to connect. But each time I turn on the iPad and keyboard, I seem to have to "rediscover" the keyboard to connect them. This doesn't seem right. Is there some setting I need to change in the iPad to get this popup to come up? Any advice. I love the keyboard/case, but it's a pain to do so much stuff to re-"pair" it each time I start up.

You shouldn't have to connect everytime, as long as both devices are completely charged and just in sleep mode.
