Picture icons won't show

After I downloaded this current version, my pictures doesn't show up as the icon. If I click on a picture, it'll show up as whatever picture it is, but once I close the picture, the icon is either all the same one picture or just grey, same goes for the album/event. It's hard to browse for a specific picture if it's all grey or all the same picture. Any clue on what I need to do?
